A collection of nine ‘L’ shaped later living homes within the conservation area of Quorn. Set out in an additive arrangement to take advantage of the sites angular layout with form and material inspired by the surrounding vernacular cottages of Quorn. 

Inspired by traditional almshouses, the courtyard houses are modest and compact in form, successfully balancing public, private, indoor, and outdoor whilst encouraging interaction and creating a sense of community.
